The Seco/Warwick group, one of the world’s largest producers of equipment for heat treatment of metals, earned a profit at the EBITDA level through the first three quarters of 2009 of PLN 1.16 million. Revenue during the period was PLN 89.5 million, and the gross margin on sales rose to 26.5%. The group’s cash flow at the operating level was about PLN 42.7 million. At the net level the group recorded a loss of PLN 2.1 million. This was primarily the effect of the difficult situation of customers and postponement of orders by some of the group’s customers.

The Supervisory Board of SECO/WARWICK SA has named Jeffrey Boswell to the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Henryk Pilarski, the previous Chairman, will now serve as a Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Piotr Kowalewski, who has served as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board, will also continue to serve as a Vice Chairman.

The SECO/WARWICK Group, one of the world’s largest producers of furnaces for heat treatment of metals, nearly tripled its net profit in the first quarter of 2009, to PLN 3.95 million, on sales revenue of nearly PLN 39.5 million. EBITDA grew by nearly 2,599%, to PLN 7.05 million.

The SECO/WARWICK Group, one of the world’s largest producers of furnaces for heat treatment of metals, recorded sales revenues last year of nearly PLN 254.1 million and earned a net profit of PLN 14.14 million, thus achieving its financial projections for 2008.

The Supervisory Board of SECO/WARWICK SA has decided that starting 1 March 2009, the Chairman of the Management Board of the company will be Leszek Przybysz, who has recently served as Vice President and Managing Director for Eastern Europe of Klöckner Pentaplast GmbH & Co KG.
