Controlled Atmosphere Brazing (CAB Technology)
Brazing of aluminum in controlled atmosphere furnaces (CAB technology) with non-corrosive flux is currently the main technology used in
production of aluminum heat exchangers in the automotive industry. SECO/WARWICK is now the most experienced company in the CAB- based production of equipment, with 25 years of experience in the field. The acquisition (in 2002) of intellectual property rights of Camlaw, an experienced and leading producer of furnaces and CAB lines, backed by delivery of more than 100 lines for industry, is another step by SECO/WARWICK to extend its knowledge in the CAB area.
We offer optimal solutions for all types of industrial heat exchangers manufactured in long-run, medium-run or individual short run production.
We produce the following equipment types:
- production lines based on radiation (CAB R) furnaces, convection/radiation (CAB CR) furnaces and convection (CAB C) furnaces for continuous operation,
- Active Only® semi-continuous systems for short-run and individual production, and
- chamber furnaces with vacuum purging for heat exchanger prototypes as R&D purposes.
For several years, we have successfully developed specialized equipment for applying CAB technology in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry and in CO2 emissions control programs for electric companies.
We are committed to ongoing improvement of equipment design, and work closely with major users to help them achieve more economic operation and implement efficient technology. We also renovate industrial equipment already in operation.
